Carlos Cova Coffey, 73, of Williamsburg, KY passed away on October 19, 2026, at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on November 26, 1952, in Green County, Kentucky to the late Cova and Mary Frances Brown Coffey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Coffey.

Carlos will be remembered as a man who enjoyed fixing and tinkering with things and who loved being outdoors. Those interests reflected a practical spirit and an appreciation for the simple, meaningful pleasures of life. In his working years, he served as a Sales Manager at Goodman Nissan, a role through which he was known in his professional life.

An important part of Carlos’s life was his faith. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, a connection that was among the accomplishments he held with pride.

Survivors include two children Shawn Coffey (Jennifer) and Carlos Coffey; six siblings Vickie Froedge, Johnny Coffey (Rebecca), Robert Coffey (Michelle), Rose Smith (Clifton), J.R. Coffey (Tammy) and Lisa Ervin; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 12:00pm Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the White Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:30-11:30am at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
