Carolyn Ann Head, 58, of Horse Cave, KY passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born in New Albany, IN on November 15, 1965, to the late Kenneth Neal and Nona Rogers Parnell.

Mrs. Head was a member of the New Jerusalem Tabernacle Church and enjoyed listening to her daughter sing and read the bible to her. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Russell Earl Head of Horse Cave, KY; two daughters Rachel Ann Head of Magnolia, KY and Bethany Ruth Head of Horse Cave, KY; six grandchildren Macie Marie Head, Liam Allen Childress, Kainen Kole Sidebottom, Ethan Neal Sidebottom, Kendall Lee Sheldon, and Kennedy Renee Sheldon; seven siblings Lindsey Floyd of Hodgenville, KY, Kenny Parnell (Shawn) of Knob Lick, KY, Don Parnell (Nancy) of Knob Lick, KY, Charlie Parnell (Donna) of Columbia, KY, Kendall Parnell of Hodgenville, KY, Kathy Tarter (Charles) of Columbia, KY, and Lora Burton (Danny) of Knob Lick, KY and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings Troy, Roger, and Janice Renee Parnell.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Maple Hill Cemetery with a viewing at the cemetery from 12:30-1:00pm.
