Mark Alan Jessie, 71, of Edmonton, KY passed away on September 26, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 26, 1955, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Ovie V. and Loretta Jessie.

Mark was a truck driver, a line of work that reflected dedication, perseverance, and a steady commitment to providing for those he loved. Outside of work, he found joy in fishing, listening to bluegrass music, and spending time with family and friends. These simple and meaningful pleasures helped shape a life centered on companionship, faith, and the comfort of familiar things.

He was also a member of Chestnut Grove Christian Church, an important part of his life and one of the accomplishments he held with pride.

Survivors include his wife Buffy Edwards Jessie; three children Tina Frey, Kyle Jessie (Twyla) and Matthew Jessie (Emily); five grandchildren Shane Frey (Allie), Mason Frey, Liam Jessie, Hailey Jessie and Isaiah Jessie; two great grandchildren James and Jessie Frey; two siblings Bruce Jessie (Allison) and Jo Ann Phelps (Gene); a nephew Brian Phelps and several cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings Danny Ray Jessie and Vicky Bilbrey.

Funeral serves will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with burial in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday after 11:00am at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.

Bro. Freddy Froedge will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Kyle Jessie, Matthew Jessie, Shane Frey, Jeremy Burton, Jayden Burton, Brian Phelps.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
