Sandra Darlene Gassaway, 69, of Edmonton, KY passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on November 4, 1954, in Glasgow, KY to the late Bert and Margie Clemmons Pruitt.

Mrs. Gassaway was a member of the Trinity Christian Outreach Church and was retired from Sumitomo. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends, especially watching her grandchildren ride horses and playing ball.

Survivors include a daughter Nickie (Steven) Dubree of Summer Shade, KY; two granddaughters Payton and Camdyn Dubree; a grandson Mason Clemmons; two siblings Rodney (Lecia) Pruitt and Charlotte (Jerry Dale) Gassaway; a special friend Carla (Larry) Ward; special daughters Cindy (Chris) Lollar and Lori (James) Reece; her Trinity Outreach Church family, numerous co-workers from SEWS, friends and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece Emily Robyn Hurt, a grandson Dustin Layne Gassaway, and both set of her grandparents.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00pm and will continue Thursday morning after 7:00am at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
