Zona Loretta Jessie, 92, of Edmonton, KY passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Metcalfe County, KY on November 22, 1932, to the late Holland B. and Delpha Romines Jessie. She was preceded in death by her husband Ovie Venice Jessie.

Mrs. Jessie was a member of the Chestnut Grove Christian Church and enjoyed serving the Lord and being with her church family. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include three children Mark Jessie (Buffy), Bruce Jessie (Allison) and Jo Ann Phelps (Gene) all of Edmonton, KY; four grandchildren Brian Phelps, Tina Frey, Kyle Jessie (Twyla), and Matthew Jessie (Emily); seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a sister Nancy Shirley of Glasgow, KY and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two children Danny Ray Jessie and Vicky Bilbrey and five siblings Dorothy Wright, Clifford Jessie, Imogene Jessie, Sue Jessie, and Peggy Faye Burris.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with burial in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00pm and on Wednesday after 8:00am at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.

Bro. Jeremy Burton will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Kyle Jessie, Matt Jessie, Brian Phelps, Jeff Burris, Chris Burris, Roger Shirley, Shane Frey.
