Ellen Bowles Ennis

Ellen Bowles Ennis, 66, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Sunday, September 8. 2024 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  Born in Glasgow, April 17, 1958, to the late Raymond and Susie Byrd Ennis.  Mrs. Ennis was a homemaker, she enjoyed coloring, playing Yahtzee and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Kipp Goad (Michelle) of Knob Lick, KY; two daughters, Brandy Goad of Edmonton and Virginia Estes (Walter) of Edmonton; two brothers Dalton Ennis of Knob Lick and Wendell Ennis of Edmonton; two sisters Gayle Hayes of Cave City and Donna Jewell of Edmonton; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne, Wesley, Jimmy and Donald Ennis and one sister Janice Young.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home in Edmonton, with burial in the Ennis Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, September 10, 2024, and after 8:00AM Wednesday, until time for the service at the funeral home.
