James Leon Bowles

James Leon Bowles, 55, of Louisville, KY passed Friday, January 24, 2025, at his residence. He was born on April 3, 1969, in Glasgow, KY to the late Johnny Martin and Judy Bowles Garmon.

Mr. Bowles was a craftsman that enjoyed doing all kinds of woodworking. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting for dry land fish, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Beth Hagan Bowles of Louisville, KY; three children Leticia Kilgore (Ryan) of Center, KY, James Michael Lee Bowles of Center, KY, and James Gavin Bowles (Lexi Patton) of Louisville, KY; two stepchildren Austin Hagan (Ronnie) of Louisville, KY and Courtney Hagan of Bowling Green, KY; eight grandchildren Alexia, Trinity, Harmony and Ella Kilgore, Dexton, Khloee, and Laynie Bowles, and Kinsley Hagan; five siblings Kristie Gutierrez (Tony) of Glasgow, KY, Ruby Ennis of Knob Lick, KY, P J Garmon of Summer Shade, KY, Dereka Rigney of Texas, and Anthony Martin of Smiths Grove, KY and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with interment in the Ballard Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Tuesday at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
