Lloyd “Bucket” Gray, 79, of Edmonton, KY passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Gary, IN on March 9, 1945, to the late John and Lettie Mae Gregory Gray. He was married to Jana Kaye Austin Gray on April 26, 1969, and they would have celebrated their 55th year of marriage this month.
Mr. Gray was of the Christian faith and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, looking for arrowheads and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Jana Kaye Austin Gray of Edmonton, KY; three children Tonya Peek (Randy) and Kevin Gray both of Edmonton, KY, and John Gray (Melissa) of Columbia, KY; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; four brothers John Lawson (Irene), Roy Gray (Yolanda), Ricky Gray (Mary), and Ben Gray (Kathy) and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with burial in the Gray Family Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00pm and on Thursday from 11:00am-1:00pm at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
